Protein Peanut Butter Hearts
Grain, gluten, dairy and refined sugar free banana bread. This recipe is the bomb!!!! I have been craving banana bread, and in true fashion, cleaned this shiz up with nutritious ingredients and WOW! SO GOOD, moist and delicious. Hope you guys love it!
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 - 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup protein powder - I use APHINA code: MICHELLEMETHOD
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Optional white chocolate chips fro drizzle
1-2 tsp coconut oil
DIRECTIONS:
Add peanut butter and protein powder to a bowl and mix well - depending on what kind of protein you use, you may need to add more (1 tbsp at a time) until you reach a thick dough-like consistency!
Roll the dough into a ball and place on a parchment paper lined tray and slightly flatten. Set in the freezer 30 min
Using a cookie cutter, cut out mini hearts (or you can form by hand or just roll into balls). Set back in the fridge/freezer for 30 min
Melt chocolate chips + coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between each. Can also use double boiler method
Dip each heart into melted chocolate, top with white chocolate drizzle, flakey sea salt, and place back in the fridge/freezer to set. Enjoy!
