Smoked Paprika Blackened Shrimp
INGREDIENTS:
1 + 1/2 lbs fresh shrimp, peeled + deveined
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp gluten-free or cassava flour @bobsredmill
2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
Himalayan sea salt + pepper
2-3 tbsp organic grass-fed butter or coconut oil
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pat the shrimp dry. In a medium bowl, add shrimp, paprika, cumin, chopped garlic, flour and a pinch each of salt and pepper.
2. Heat the grass-fed butter/coconut oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp. Reduce heat to medium/low, and sauté shrimp until cooked through and browned/crispy on each side.
3. Remove from heat and serve with some brown rice + your fav veg!
