Cherry Cheesecake Protein Ice Cream

This dessert is PROTEIN PACKED, and is SO delish! If you don’t have a Ninja Creami, don’t worry you can still enjoy this! Both recipes are below ;) Enjoy!!! xo

INGREDIENTS FOR NINJA CREAMI RECIPE:

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 

  • 1/2 cup almond milk or cashew milk 

  • 2 tbsp keto vanilla pudding I use SimplyDelish brand

  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener and or maple syrup/honey

  • Optional vanilla protein powder, 1-2 tbsp

  • Dark Frozen cherries 

  • More dark frozen cherries and gluten free graham crackers to mix in ;)

INGREDIENTS FOR REGULAR RECIPE:

  • 2 cups cottage cheese

  • 1-2 tbsp keto vanilla pudding I use SimplyDelish brand

  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener and or maple syrup/honey

  • Optional vanilla protein powder, 1-2 tbsp

  • Dark Frozen cherries 

  • More dark frozen cherries and gluten free graham crackers to mix in ;)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. First, Using an immersion blender, or blender blend the ingredients until smooth.

  2. Next, transfer your blended mixture into the pint container and freeze for 24 hours.

  3. If you are not using a Ninja Creami, follow the REGULAR RECIPE above ;) blend all ingredients in the blender or food processor and freeze 2-4 hours, let thaw a little and devour!

  4. Time to spin! Remove the frozen mixture from your freezer and put into the Ninja Creami machine. Spin using the ice cream setting one time. Each spin takes a couple of minutes.

  5. Run again using the re-spin button add a little milk if needed.

  6. Run a final third time using the re-spin button until your mixture is smooth and creamy like the picture below. Before the final spin, you can add a splash of milk if your mixture is looking a bit dry, too crumbly, or you want a creamier texture.

  7. When you’ve finished your final spin, test out the creaminess using a spoon. When your ice cream is smooth, creamy and no longer crumbly, it’s finished and ready to eat! Option to add more cherries and gluten free graham crackers to the mix in cycle!
