Our neighbour had us over to pick apples, so naturally we baked them right up! I cleaned up a simple apple crumble recipe, baked them up in the air fryer, they were SO delicious + the kids rating was a solid 10/10. Serve with Greek Yogurt or plant based ice cream! Enjoy! xo

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE CRUMLE

  • 1/4 cup almond flour or oat flour 

  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar 

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil softened 

FOR THE APPLE FILLING

  • 2-3 Granny Smith apples

  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

  • 2 Tbsp gluten free or oat flour

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar 

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS:

MAKE THE CRUMBLE TOPPING

In a bowl, combine dry ingredients for the crumble topping. Use a fork to press the coconut oil into the dry ingredients until combined. 

MAKE THE APPLE FILLING

1. Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees F. Grease four ramekins.

2 Chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. Place apples in a medium bowl. 

3. Add in flour, vanilla, coconut sugar, coconut oil, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.

4. Divide apple mixture between four ramekins. Sprinkle crumble mixture over the apples.

5. Cook in the air fryer at 370 degrees for 15-17 minutes, until apples are softened and crumble is golden brown. Let it cool and serve with some Greek yogurt or dairy free ice cream

* you can also cook them in the oven around 350-375F for the same time or more if needed!
